Dr. Myra C. Stamps, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Georgia State University in 1989. She received her medical degree in 1993 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. After spending a year in Philadelphia completing an internship, she returned to Atlanta and completed a residency in Anesthesia at Emory University in 1997. Dr. Stamps was on the staff at both Crawford W. Long Hospital (currently known as Emory Midtown Hospital) and Gwinnett Medical Center before focusing her practice solely on ambulatory anesthesia in 2001. Dr. Stamps is a founding partner of North Perimeter Anesthesia, LLC and currently resides in Buckhead with her husband and their 2 daughters.
